Final Withdrawal Date
If you are not planning to complete INFO 106, you might consider withdrawing from the class. Friday February 24th is the last day to withdraw. If you do not submit enough work to earn a grade, please let me know if you would prefer an Incomplete, an 'NC' or a 0.0 grade.

Each quarter, we offer several free workshops for students, campus and community members. The workshops are designed to help you learn to use library resources more effectively, easily and efficiently. You'll get an overview on a specific resource and then have a chance to practice with a librarian's help. All workshops are fifty minutes and require no advance sign-up. Workshops are held in LIB105.

SSCC Student Government Rally
Hundreds of community college students from across the state will be conducting a rally in Olympia on Wednesday, February 1. South’s United Student Association is coordinating the event for South students. Please announce this opportunity for students to express their voice about community college funding to legislators and the Governor. A flyer is attached to post in your departments and classrooms. And, sign-up sheets are available in Student Life, JMB 135. Free transportation, lunch and an orientation will be provided.
Thank you also, in advance, for accommodating students who may request a missed class day.

12 pm – 1:30 pm Rally in the Rotunda
1:30 pm – 3pm Lunch, tours and/or appointments with legislators
3pm Depart Olympia
